RASCO recycling convenience center in Gallatin

The Resource Authority in Sumner County, commonly called RASCO, operates the county’s recycling convenience center at 625 Rappahannock Wire Road in Gallatin. RASCO also operates a broader disposal facility for household trash, construction and demolition debris, yard waste, tires and other materials, but those services may involve separate fees and handling rules.

Regular household trash

Gallatin residents who receive city trash service should review the city’s collection rules before taking household garbage elsewhere. Gallatin says regular garbage service is collected Monday through Thursday, with cans placed at the curb by 7 a.m. on the scheduled pickup day.
